‘Cage Bush’ banner gets a showing
September 6th, 2007
A Darlinghurst resident, annoyed that Councillors would not back Chris Harris’ motion to display a ‘Cage Bush. Not Sydney’ banner on Town Hall, offered their top floor balcony with views to the Opera House and North Shore.
So a Greens team put together a banner, which will be solidly mounted tomorrow morning in time for the APEC conference proper.

Above: One of several caged Police buses especially fitted out for APEC waits in Bathurst Street. No chance any fork-throwing ferals will penetrate these defences.

Above: A police helicopter with what appears to be side-mounted machine guns flies over Darlinghurst. Such craft use around 190 litres of fossil fuel per hour.

A helpful sign in George Street near Town Hall.
